Pavel TOWEN Veselý – Vocal Pedagogue

pVocal pedagogue Pavel TOWEN Veselý began his cooperation with our choir in September 2010. Towen is not only a vocal pedagogue, but also an actor, singer, choreographer and dancer. He studied singing at „Music Conservatory” at a famous artist Jan Soumar. In 1977 he started his dance studies at Frank Towen and took over not only Towen´s Dance School later, but also his artistic name TOWEN. The children chorus of his Musical Studio of the same name represented our country at festival Macuri/Haku in Japan.

He directed original Czech musical written by J. Helekal and J. Sůsa “Fairytale of A Water Nymph for the”Musical Studio Towen". Since 1992 he performed mainly in musicals (Jesus Christ Superstar, L´Écume des Jours, Evita, Dybbuk, Dracula, etc.) He played a triple role of Jester in Dracula, Danglars and Father Dantese in Monte Christo. He performed as guest drama actor not only in the Red Rooster Theatre (Divadlo u hasičů) but also on stage of the Prague State Opera in the “Tin Soldier”. After the bankruptcy of MontE musical Ltd. he engages only in the pedagogical work. He does not apply himself only to professional singers and actors, but also to new talents and lately to choral work.
